Mykonos Hiking Adventure – Options A & B
Option A – Scenic Hike & Beach
At 08:30, you will be picked up from your hotel or cruise ship and transferred to the Mykonian Farm in Ano Mera village. Upon arrival, you will receive your hiking kit: a backpack, water bottle, a small food package, and a traditional walking stick (“hook” or stem). You will also enjoy a brief tour of the farm garden and meet the animals.
The hike begins at 09:15, starting along a 1,450-meter trail to the Farm “Maou”, arriving around 10:00. From there, we cross the charming narrow streets of Maou, passing cultivated estates and traditional homes. Along the way, you may observe local amateur fishermen by the lake dam, while farm animals graze nearby, offering excellent photo opportunities.
At 10:30, we reach a panoramic viewpoint at the Dam, having traveled 4,150 meters. After a short rest and additional insights from your guide, the trail continues for 950 meters to reach Point 3 – Mersini Beach, totaling 5,100 meters from the start. Here, Option A concludes, allowing time to swim and relax before returning around 12:30 to your accommodation or the Mykonian Farm for a traditional lunch (if selected).
Option B – Extended Hike Adventure
For those seeking a more challenging experience, the hike continues after a 15-minute break at Mersini Beach. The trail ascends to Point 4 – “The Wind”, 6,100 meters from the start. From here, enjoy sweeping views of Ikaria, Samos, and Tinos islands, with historic granite mines visible on your left.
By 13:00, you reach the highest point of the hike – The Wind, enjoying the refreshing breeze and panoramic vistas. The journey continues to Point 5 – the Estate with Bougainvilleas, 7,300 meters from the start, passing a horse farm and a charming blue chapel.
The final stretch leads to Point 6 – the Shipyards of Elm, covering a total distance of 9,800 meters. Here, amateur fishermen guard their small boats, and the adjacent beach offers a refreshing swim to conclude the adventure. You will be picked up at around 14:00 and returned to your starting point or to the Mykonian Farm for a traditional lunch, including local delicacies and a review of your hiking experience.
Useful Information:

Wear comfortable shoes (hiking shoes or sandals), bring a camera, sun protection, and a swimming costume.

During spring and autumn, we recommend bringing a light jacket.
Transportation from/to the hotel or port
* An additional transfer fee (10,00€ per person/cash on the spot) will apply for transfers from/to hotels in the areas of Elia, Kalafatis, Agrari, Panormos, Super Paradise, Kanalia & remote areas.
The transfer to and from the Starting and Finish points
Backpack, water bottle, small package with food and traditional ‘hook’ walking stick for your support during the hike.
