Mykonos Combo Experience – Authentic Island Life & Evening Walking Tour

This unique tour offers a broad perspective of Mykonos, combining the cosmopolitan charm of the town with an authentic experience of the island’s traditional life. You will be picked up from your hotel or cruise ship for a full day of sightseeing, cultural exploration, and local experiences.

Part 1 – Authentic Island Tour (Bus & Scenic Stops)

Your adventure begins at 10:30, with the first stop at the picturesque small port of Agios Ioannis, named after the church of Saint Ioannis. This historic area serves as a home port for local fishing boats, offering a glimpse into the island’s maritime heritage.

From there, the tour continues to Ornos Beach for panoramic photos, followed by a drive past Mykonos Airport, where you can enjoy a unique view of the runway. The route then leads to Ano Mera Village, passing through the island’s traditional agricultural countryside, dotted with cultivated fields, local chapels, and small family farms.

In Ano Mera Square, we visit the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani, guided through its historic chambers. A short walk brings us to the Mykonian Farm, where our hosts will welcome you into this charming property. Here, you will enjoy:

• A guided tour of the vineyard, vegetable gardens, private chapel, traditional wooden oven, and farm animals (cows, donkeys, sheep, goats)

• An optional snack or lunch featuring local specialties: bread, tomatoes, kopanisti cheese, cucumbers, and black olives

The tour continues with photo stops at Mykonos’ distant beaches: Kalo Livadi and Kalafatis (no swimming), followed by a panoramic viewpoint of Mykonos Town for stunning photo opportunities.

Free time: After returning to your hotel around 15:00, enjoy a 2-hour break before reconvening for the evening walking tour, or remain at the farm until departure.

Part 2 – Evening Walking Tour (Guided on Foot)

Beginning at 18:00, our guide will lead you through the charming alleys and historic streets of Chora, sharing stories and insights into the island’s culture and heritage. Highlights include:

• Manto Mavrogenous Square and monument

• Church of Agia Kiriaki

• Matogianni Street – renowned shopping area with boutiques and local attractions

• Square of the Three Wells and home of Manto Mavrogenous’ mother

• Church of Agios Efthimios

• Gioras Bakery – traditional Cycladic bakery

• Windmills – iconic symbol of Mykonos

• Little Venice / Alefkandra Square – picturesque medieval houses (15 min free time)

• Church of Panagia Paraportiani – one of Greece’s most famous architectural gems

• Town Hall & Agios Nikolaos Church

The evening walking tour concludes with a return transfer to your hotel or cruise ship, completing a full day of cultural, scenic, and gastronomic experiences on the “Island of the Winds.”
