Mykonian Farm Experience – Mykonos Excursions

Mykonian Farm Experience

Take a break to a place where you can explore a part of Mykonos, where time slows down just enough for you to relax and experience a traditional way of living just like Mykonians do, on the Mykonian Farm Experience tour which starts with picking you up from your chosen meeting point, then we drive across the center of the island that unites Mykonos town (Chora) with the village of Ano Mera, which is approximately 7 km apart. Once we arrive at the village we will pass through the picturesque square and visit the monastery of Panagia Tourliani. We then continue by walking only 400 meters to the Mykonian Farm where we will be welcomed by the Farm’s superintendent who will guide us through the territory, for a tour of its premises. Depending on the season and if available, you can also cut and savor products from the vegetable garden. The farm animals (goats, sheep, donkey, rabbits, cows, etc.) will be upon disposal for petting or caring.

After exploring the garden and the animals, it’s time for the farm sommelier to take you on a journey of drinks through tasting 3 prestigious local wines, and this will take place in a specially arranged sitting area. You will not only learn basic tasting techniques but also uncork and savor Greece’s most distinct blends.

Once done with the sipping and tasting, then the cooking demonstration of some of Greece’s most traditional dishes will begin, under the guidance or supervision of the famous Mrs. Teta, during which guests will learn to make spinach pie, stuffed tomatoes and peppers, and the famous tzatziki. Depending on the number of participants, the guests will take turns in helping out the hostess as well as learning the preparation of the dishes. Immediately after, the light lunch will be served, which consists of the dishes of the demonstration (spinach pie, stuffed tomatoes and peppers, seasonal salad, feta cheese). The whole experience will last for approximately 5 hours, once finished you will be transferred back to your destinations.

Make sure that your outfit is casual, as there is little room for a “formal dress code” on the farm!

Great experience with heartwarming touch

It was really fantastic with all the nice people there. We felt welcome from the first step we went into the farm restaurant.🥰
The food was really delicious and a lot 🙂🫶
I also was allowed to be with the chef on the bbq grill to roast some bread to our Tzatziki 😁
Would defonitely come back if our plane would not depart tomorrow.
All the best for you and your restaurant.

Get away from the beach into nature

If you ever want to know what is hidden in the stuffed dumplings, then I recommend a trip to the farm. Under very nice instructions with a lot of fun (and snacking) we were able to prepare them there ourselves, and of course also eat them.
After a wine tasting and tour of the farm with also a lot of fun, we had our cooked food in great surroundings for shooting. It was a nice afternoon. Thanks to the farm team.

Nice visit

Nice visit to a small farm. Animals penned up due to season but they were so cute.
Nice organic lunch with their own wine.

Cute spot

We stopped here as part of our excursion on our NCL cruise. The farm is absolutely adorable, and the staff were very friendly. There was spanakopita , donuts, cheese pie, and more to sample. There’s animals to see, and you can actually see the grapes vines. Very cool place!

Food Demo and Farm Tour

It was a great experience. My husband was the only man on this cooking demo tour and got to participate in making tzatziki and won the "competition", LOL. The wine tasting was a great experience even though I am not a real wine drinker, I did enjoy one of them. The lunch provided was great and the whole experience was entertaining. I participated in the dancing and everyone was just so friendly.

Very good

The whole activity is very good. The farm is located near the village surrounded by countryside which is really great. Teta makes cooking look so easy, even for people who don't like the hustle such as myself. We also get to taste the food at the end. All in all, recommended

So wholesome!

This was such a sweet experience. I loved the animals (especially the donkey!) and the whole vibe was so friendly. The food was super tasty too!

I loved it! I really needed a break from the beach clubs and this was perfect. I helped in the garden and I learned to make real Greek food. Recommended!!

Mrs. Teta was an absolute gem with her fun demonstration! My grandchildren loved the farm animals, but us adults loved the wine! Would go again!
